Progress report.

I went to the fracture clinic this afternoon, and the cast was removed. The consultant was very pleased  and it's healing nicely. I had eighteen stitches, and I only have a light dressing on it .. I do feel a bit nervous now there is no protection, but at least the air can now get at it. Next appointment Friday for the splint to be fitted, and to be worn at night.
