Cliveden

Arrived early so it wasn't too crowded.  Obligatory cappucino and cheese scone first, then hobbled around the Parterre and down the long slope to the sounding room.  You go in via ornate gold doors (just past the gazebo), first extra.  Not much to see, but the echo's are wonderful, and I was on my own, so I tried a few songs  :):) 

I wandered back the other way, and met a group of ladies who had met up to do some drawing together.  Chatted quite a while to them.  Further on I met an elderly couple who were interested in what I was photographing and when I mentioned Blipfoto, even more interested.  He made a note of the website and my 'thingsbeautiful' handle!  I hope I've inspired.

Onto the wild area and a delightful thistle, a large dandelion head, and some strange caterpillars (there were dozens of them! - I believe cinnebar moth?), extras 2 and 3!

Home and I've put the rubbish out.

Feeling shattered now, but must do a quick job hunt, then I'm clearing my kitchen out for tomorrow, when a friend is coming to help me do a long overdue freezer defrost and clean.  I can't get down the lower two shelves for cleaning now...
