An interesting visit to a Lappish Reindeer farm. Between April to September the reindeer are left to roam freely. As winter arrives they gradually return to a farm where food is available.

They don’t necessarily return to their own farm however, so a huge reindeer swap takes place. With 200,000 reindeer in Finnish Lapland, that’s a lot of swaps!
