Beauty is all around us.

Yellow nasturtiums with variegated leaves.

The Feast Day of Saint Rufina and St Secunda.

I have blipped these vibrant yellow nasturtiums as a focus for something bright and beautiful on this cloudy, cold and rainy morning. It is 20c but feels more like 17c.
I have been out before the rain to take Jenny last week's People's Friend and I have done all my housework.

I was chatting to Paul in the conservatory, when we heard an almighty crash, almost like the roof was impacted. We were shocked but stayed calm. It turned out Hunter had climbed up onto the wet slippery roof and fallen. It must have been a big shock for him, but he disappeared for about 15 minutes into the garden next door. They have lovely mature shrubs and Hunter loves to sit in their shelter, especially when it rains. I think he loves plants and trees as much as I do! Eventually he came home through our garden, for his cat food. We checked him out and thank the Lord, he was not visibly injured. Paul has got a plan to block off the access to climbing up onto the roof for the cats. He went to B&Q yesterday to buy the wood and green netting, but the heavy rain means he has to wait for a dry interval hopefully this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone and prayers for our football team to achieve a glorious result this evening.

Steps 6046.
