Many in New Zealand have been intrigued by Lulu Sun’s tennis progress in Wimbledon, from a virtual unknown, to making it to the Quarter Finals. She has done extraordinarily well and deserves praise for her achievements as well as her down-to-earth attitudes.

Another frosty start with solid ice on the top of the chooks’ water storage drum. I had a can of spare water in the car and had taken some more greens from my garden, so the chooks were happy. I wonder how long this frosty spell will last for …
