Rangitoto sunrise

Arrived at Auckland City Hospital just before 07:00. Only surgeons and anaesthetists tend to arrive that early and accordingly I had no difficulty in finding a carpark. Walking to the unit (the building with lights on in my blip) takes a bit under 10 minutes. 

At almost the highest point on that walk, I stopped and used my new iPhone to get this photo. The reception area is shown with lights on in the centre of the photo.

The cone of the volcano we call Rangitoto shows up as purple. There is a great view from the summit. It sits in the sea and is almost perfectly round.
