Truly Blippin' Marvelous

By JohnEdward

Black headed

grosbeak. Looking a bit the worse for wear.

Merlin identified nine different birds from song this morning but I was not able to spot very many. One was the Warbling Vireo . . . . another I've not been able to espy lately is the Lazuli Bunting; perhaps Merlin is mistaken . . . it does happen . . . I'm beginning to recognize the regulars from song alone . . . makes the walk that little bit more enjoyable.

Music practise this afternoon and then chess club at the library.

Big softies that we are we took on three six to eight weeks old kittens.
