Fireweed
aka Rosebay Willowherb common beside railway lines, the fluffy seeds blown along the lineside by passing trains. I spotted his rather damp individual as I walked down Abergynolwyn station drive after a very long shift this afternoon.
A busy kind of work day, food prep and cooking as opposed to the front of house roles that I usually fulfil. Overnight bookings for Afternoon Teas and Cream teas - for the morning! - meant I had to land running but the time passed quicker for that. An hour at home before singing this evening. I was tired and sat down to sing some of the time but it was great therapy :-)
Ten days off now. With Ruth here it will be a fun time. She has been a useful dog sitter today, joined for much of the time by Jacinta who's off back across the country tomorrow.
