Summit view

Dog walking delegated.

Head north for a day in hills.

A couple of 2000ft ones today. Quiet roads to start.
A very steep first one after a forest road meandering up took us to a fire break. A small summit cairn marked the top. Good views all around to bigger hills.

Along the road and next hill, a gentle slope by comparison to the first.

A summit crag with a pile of sheep droppings marked the top. Windy but clear and good views all around. We watched the weather front coming our way.

We ran some of the descent as the slope lent itself to this. My quads were burning. The rain started when the car was started.

Great day with excellent company.

Edinburgh traffic crap and took almost the same time to get across town to get back from hills.

Washed , fed and hydrated.

Quiet evening.

Moved a hivebfor mentor then walked dogs with eco mum.
