Premature

Wednesday was Defence Gardening Scheme day out at Vounder Farm, Eden Project, always enjoyable.
Today it was hanging baskets, by the time we were finished for the day they were back up and looking great. As I spent the last thirty minutes watering them I recalled the forecast for the coming week; “unsettled with prolonged periods of heavy rain”.

No rowing in the evening, the weather forecast was pretty grim although walking Paddy later I looked out over a clear, dry and sunny harbour. Cannot say I didn’t enjoy a night off from the rowing, some time with Mrs S instead.
