Early morning view from Castlerigg stone circle

Another great day at LPH!
Seven out of ten of us got up at 5am to try and photograph the stone circle in the mist. The circle was not in mist but the mountains were and the light was wonderful. We stayed there for well over an hour before coming back for breakfast.
We then went to Thirlmere followed by Loughrigg tarn which was spectacular. We got extremely hot so in the late afternoon we went to a pub in Keswick for a little light refreshment! before going on to the Little Theatre to see John's photographic exhibition . Sadly there had been play rehearsals and we were not allowed in. Hopefully I will be able to go on Saturday on my way home.
Very tired now as only had 4 hours sleep owing to the early start so as it is nearly midnight, must get some sleep ready for another busy day tomorrow!!
