Bow Fiddle Rock

It was another lovely morning, which became a lovely day.  I started my day with a quick beach walk, followed by a wander around the village.  TT prepared brunch and we then headed out for the day.  Our destination was Cullen.  The tide was pretty high, but we set off along the beach, hoping we would still be able to get up the cliff path at the far end. We managed, and continued our walk along the cliffs to Portknockie and then continued along the coastal trail to Findochty,  While it was a lovely day and very easy walking, BB was not happy about the addition to Findochty.  Given he is young, fit and healthy and has been stuck inside for most of the week, I don’t know what got into him, but he was grumpy.

We enjoyed the sunshine in Findochty for a wee while, then retraced our steps to Portknockie, taking the old railway path back to Cullen, rather than going along the beach. We headed home and cobbled tea together from whatever was left in the fridge – it was a veritable feast.

TT then watched On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, while I read my book.

This is the Bow Fiddle Rock at Portknockie.  The extra is Findochty.
