The Loch Ness Monster...

... has been spotted alive and well and in Dunmanus Bay!

Thank you so much for all the kind comments on yesterday's portrait, not something I would normally inflict upon you but I reckon Will did a good job and amazingly I liked it too. I think he knows his mother well by now.

Up  early this morning and I took Himself to catch the (free) bus into Cork for an eye appointment then I took the car in to be serviced in Durrus. No convenient bus so I walked home - 9km, but it was most pleasant. No rain, mild and fabulous coastal views all the way. I had a coffee break before I began, even remembering my recyclable cup, and then had strawberries at the half way point.
I've just collected Himself off the bus (the car was grand and I got the bus back to pick it up) and we both enjoyed some chips down by the pier. Nice.
