Dawn Dipper

One of my fellow dell dippers set up dawn dipper group for those who might want to go for an early(ish) morning swimming. Today I joined then for the first time, having met at the car-park at 8.15.  I know that isn't actually that early but since retiring I have become more of a night owl.  It was a beautiful morning for a swim and it felt good to be back at a reasonable hour with most of the day ahead of me. 

I made use of that time by doing Gaelic revision,  some more gardening and then working on the Railway Workers project I am helping VC with.

I was meant to be visiting the Corbenic Poetry Path  this evening with Tryst walking group but it has been postponed due to the rain., making me even more glad I was up and at 'em early(ish) for a swim.
