A drizzly day was forecast and that’s what we got.  My only walk was an early one around a few shops in Kendal, the town centre this time. Fortunately Jane left the flowers that weren’t used for the rushbearing so I moved the sunflowers around until I got a photo I was happy to blip. 

Today the tree men were back. One more conifer has gone and the ones directly opposite have had the tops removed. They’re still more than twice the height of the lamppost
