Small survivor

I reckon the flower on this tiny poppy is about the size of a penny. 

If it wasn't so eye-catching, I think I would've trampled it by now. 

In fact it's astonishing that it's survived Stella charging past it on the way to the side garden. 

A bit of pale colour on an otherwise dull and grey day.
