Bead tree

A traveller from the east - Melia azedrach - a recent watercolour from a photo of last autumn. Then, I liked the gold of the berries against a stormy sky, now I think the roof is essential to the picture.
Another sadness has been added to the start of July - the President of my art group died on the 4th after a brief and brutal illness. She was much loved and respected. This is for her and for Chaiselongue.

I'll try to remember the joy of their lives, and there is much in mine with my daughter and her family living nearby for a year now, and set to stay on as long as they can.
