Lots of water

The usual shot of the ford at the bottom of Beckfoot Lane. A lot of water flowing across this morning.
We were aiming for a walk where we wouldn’t get too wet. Lots of messages flying about before we set off and it looked like it was just going to be 3 of us. Then our phones rang whilst we were on the lane, K & S had decided to join us but we had got on an earlier bus than planned and missed them. We mustered at the cafe in the park and had coffees before heading for the canal bank and walking back to 5 rise locks. A damp but sociable walk. Line dancing tonight.
