White rose variations

The foliage on my white rose bush has been the victim of partial munching by some unidentified predator, but the flowers are beautiful, even on a dull day. The black and white edit make me think of fine porcelain. Then, some late night play led to a number of colour and stylistic variations, two of which are my extras.

I liked being up reasonably early for an online yoga class, which left me both calmed and energised; spent longer than I expected on some shamefully overdue deep cleaning in J's room; then later, helped J with more plans and experiments for the group animation project she is working towards. We used Krita (digital art software) to make some soft backgrounds suggesting a remembered landscape, which we hope can fade into one another on the editing timeline - we'll see, but the drawing was fun, with me supporting her movements hand-over-hand as always.
