Aedan and rod

What a fantastic day it was! I was working at Christine's as part of a work exchange and we were laying a cobbled path. Good company and great craic.

Aedan was haymaking and drew home his bales in the evening just in time to jump in the car and catch the high tide at 7.45 for a swim.

The beach was empty except for Colm(who had been working all day-building, and was covered in grime and dust), Aedan and me. And a few pied wagtails. The water was bliss. A little bit of heaven. The dog came too and learnt to swim very fast. As the sun was sinking over Hungry hill Aedan took the rod and tried his luck on the rocks. Here he is on his way back.
