Floreat

My neighbours on both sides told me that my garden had been having a festival in my absence. I arrived home just in time to see the festival-goers before they keeled over with fatigue.

The orange day lilies used to be up against the greenhouse but now that's removed they have more room. The pink poppies flourish in disturbed soil and I imagine that as I slowly get control of the garden I will have fewer. The yellow evening primrose might once have been sown by my predecessor but are now rampant. At some point I will consider where I want them and where I don't. I was delighted to see the white feverfew. There used to be lots of this pretty aromatic plant in the garden and I thought I'd unintentionally eradicated it but clearly not. The red roses at the back are the offspring of the roses that used to grow over the patio destroyed in the building work. I propagated them hoping to recreate something similar in the future.
