Mrs Bambridge's private dining room

Elsie Bambridge was the last owner of Wimpole Hall before it was passed onto National Trust. She was the only surviving child of Rudyard Kipling.  She spent many years restoring Wimpole Hall  which had fallen into bad repair through neglect of previous owners.  She was a remarkable woman.
