Breakfast and on…

For those greedy types that stay the night at Inver one is rewarded with a beautiful picnic breakfast delivered to the room in the morning.   For me the best thing is something simple, their muesli and blackcurrant yoghurt.  And feeling so stuffed from the night before it was all I ate, taking the rest of my share for the train.  

It was very midgy first thing and V had to unpack the car to get quite a few things that I was taking with me to London so that wasn’t a happy start.  He got attacked.   We drove via Dunoon and the ferry to Gourock and into Glasgow and he dropped me at Glasgow Central.  

Peaceful journey South and then, lugging bags of presents including two bottles of whisky battled with tourists and families out I got on the tube over to Stratford to spend a lovely evening with the babies and B/C. I brought them both presents but Ivy just wanted to unpack bags and wear my scarf and Leo enjoyed the whisky box. He likes to put things in boxes and is constantly hiding things. 

After they went to bed we had a good chat over pulled pork and kimchi that B made.  V delicious.
