Eastward Ho......

We did a "reci" walk today. The Monday walking group walks are all the research of the walkers and so it's good to have the odd "spare" for when your time comes up.
So we took the Cable Car up and instead of coming back through the Gardens we went home the looong way.
It was fun as we chatted to a visitor from Boston and we have been there. It's the school holidays and the Cable Car was full.. Some time later we arrived at the Waimapihi Reserve, which is a great walking area too but we turned back into town and had lunch with The Bossess at Takina which is next door to our Apartment building.
Welli harbour is over to the left and was not actually visible from where we were.
