The day started with hardly a cloud in the sky and by the afternoon it became quite warm in the sun although inland the clouds were bubbling up keeping it cooler.  The sunshine drew out the crowds on the beach at Fisherrow as the tide came in.  People were sunbathing, children were making sandcastles and people were queuing for ice cream.  Unfortunately today’s “summer” may not be repeated for a few days but it was good while it lasted.   On an earlier walk we discovered this happy looking bear sunbathing although he would be even happier if he was reunited with his owner.
