Is That Really a Blue Sky?

A cloudy start to the day, but wasn't long before the skies cleared, and a beautiful sunny day followed.  Clouded over late evening.  Calm all day.

Up early, headed out walkies with Sammy.  Headed to work in the airport, a 12hr late shift.  Mostly working with oil and gas flights, then finished on the check-in desk.  Last ABZ flight was delayed, due to bird strikes on the aircraft.  Lovely night for a final walk of the day. 

The day started like most we've had this summer, dull.  By late morning, summer arrived. Blue skies have been rare this summer, so this was a most welcomed sight.  The sun was still shining when I finished work at 2100hrs.  Hope it lasts for a while to come, we need it!  I was a must for a lunchtime walk, I had to be outside.  Taken at Betty Mouat's böd, Scatness.
