Under the weather

The weather has been fine, but I woke with a sore throat. I assumed I’d slept with my mouth open, but I was wrong.

The throat is red and sore.

I popped to Aldi for a few supplies then came home for paracetamol.

Later, I looked for Covid tests. Just out of date by 6 months. The liquid seems to evaporate despite being in a sealed container. I managed to do a test by using two lots of liquid. It was negative but could I still have Covid?

Margret’s tests were out of date too. It’s important for her because she is immuno-compromised.

The day brightened when a most beautiful bouquet arrived from Kay and Eric. He finally had his pacemaker inserted during the afternoon, having been bumped from the morning list….

I’ve been knitting, watching tennis and sleeping the day away.
