Crocosmia

Thank you for all of the comments, stars and hearts for my images over the weekend.  It was such a full on course I'm still catching up with other things.  It is always a pleasure to be in the company of passionate photographers who are happy to share their experience and knowledge.

I had an early morning swim walking to the pool in glorious sunshine.  Then catching up on chores that would normally have been done over the last couple of days.  We moved the crocomsia from an area of the garden where they didn't seem that happy (they didn't flower at all last year), so it was great to see these flower buds emerging.  They are such an elegant plant.

Technical:  This is a 15 shot focus stack, combined in Helicon Focus.  This allows for the soft out of focus background and crisp focus of the buds themselves.
