Welcome to a New Week!

A beautifully bright morning and what a wonderful way to start off a new working week. :-)

I've just got in from the evening performance of the Key Stage Two summer show. My class had a scene all about the Mums and Dads at football matches. They loved being the over enthusiastic parents on the sidelines shouting "referee penalty, surely" and chanting "you're not singing, you're not singing anymore!"

However, I think their favourite part was the song at the end of our scene particularly the line "the refs not looking so kick 'em where it hurts!!!" complete with the actions...they loved waving the football scarves too provided by a Liverpool fan. It was a welcoming sea of red and white on the stage!!
