Violetta, with evening sunshine in the background
It is flowering well after a poor show last year.
A beautiful afternoon with time outside pulling rosebay willow herb before it flowers. Which is a shame, it has a pretty flower and last year I spotted birds on the seed head. It is rampant this year, I doubt we will manage to pull it all out though. Some pottering around in the garden made it an enjoyable day. John had an appointment in Oban this afternoon, he arrived home at 7.00 this evening and is hopeful the first cataract operation will take place in October.
