Early morning

... and the ruffled curtain-tops filter light and shadow from the low sunlight. This is my offering for Mono Monday - maybe not entirely mono in terms of colour, but pretty much mono tone. Thanks to JacZero for hosting this month's Mono Monday challenges, and for this week's prompt 'partial'.

Spent all day chez our daughter enabling her to crack on with household tasks while we occupied the young master. He was a delight, as ever, and his walking is coming on so well. On several occasions he took solo steps. And he walked the length of the house feeling my hands at his sides, although I was not taking his weight at all. So it's simply a matter of gaining confidence. Little Miss B was at school, of course, but arrived home ready to tuck into Unicorn jammy dodgers! She would eat slices of compressed moondust if they were unicorn-shaped!
