Windermere from Fell Foot

A morning emptying boxes of Dad's stuff, sorting it, keeping some of it and discarding the residue.  Hard work and it brings up all sorts of emotions.  Did find Dad's school report for his primary school time between 1941 and 1944.  One of the comments reads 'Term work v. satisfactory, and Alan might do well if he keeps his mind on his work'!

This afternoon we popped out to Fell Foot for a leg stretch.  It was warm and sunny and nice to sit with an ice-cream overlooking Windermere.
