Peat Galore

Well today was lovely and warm with sunny spells and a sunny afternoon in Lerwick. When I finished work and heading home, the mist was down over Scalloway :(
I did get a handy tip via Facebook saying that my home town of Cunningsburgh was mist free so I headed down the road for the evening. Had a few walks around various parts of Cunningsburgh.
This was up the south peat hill. This is machine cuts peats by the tonnes! The old saying was that the heat from the peats was in the cutting but not here by machine :)
