A fine afternoon spent on Carus Green golf course entertaining clients at the pleasure of our business partners.
It might be one of the biggest cliches ("doin business on the golf course") but cliches become so because they are true and there's not many environments where you can play a game for four hours AND get to know a person better.
The golf itself was immaterial (no, I didn't play well) but I got to know a key client better and was able to shake off that "corporate man" image.
On top of all that, it has been a glorious day and was rounded off with a fine lager shandy at the 19th whilst overlooking the 18th.
A good day.
