Singing in the rain

We drove to this venue to hear a singer who, we had been told, was rather good. She had a 3-6 time slot and we arrived at 3:20. The rain followed us to the door. Inside a highly amplified singer was working his way through some obscure tune. He was not our cup of tea - she was not performing as she was ill. We left and the rain followed us to the car.
A slightly less than successful afternoon.
