Crossing the Willamette

On the Steel Bridge bike path. (See extras)“The Willamette River is a major tributary of the Columbia River, accounting for 12 to 15 percent of the Columbia’s flow. The Willamette’s main stem is 187 miles long.”
The county owns and maintains 6 bridges on the river in Portland. There are 7 more spans on Multnomah County’s stretch of the river owned by different operators. Lots of bridges and many have bike crossings!
