More babies

After having three lots of baby Canadian geese and one duckling we now seem to have a swan family on the grassy bank in front of the house. The Tesco delivery man said they were there on Thursday when he delivered but when we went to look they had disappeared. Today I saw one of the adult swans on the canal so we sneaked down and mum was there with four cygnets, you can just see their heads in the deep grass.
A busy Sunday at the shop. We had our first customers of the year who said they were Christmas shopping. Nothing like planning ahead.
