Abandoned plans to do a car boot sale when we saw the weather forecast but still went out as stepdaughter needed some bits & pieces for a college field trip this week and wanted to use the Bank Of Dad! 

I had to leave them to it after about an hour when my poor foot was giving me grief and I took refuge in Costa with an iced latte and a slice of apple tart.

Also found these colourful choccies in the toy shop when I popped in to spend my lottery winnings on the Lego Kingfisher...don't know when I'll have time to build it as I still have Christmas and birthday sets waiting but it was £15 cheaper than direct from Lego right now so seemed rude not to! 

In other news we're convinced F's car is jinxed...got back to the car park to find someone had dented and scratched the passenger door. They did leave a note with their phone number though. Poor bugger has no good luck!
