Common spotted orchids

Dawyck Botanic Gardens, near Peebles

Common was the word for these orchids, multiple at almost every turn as we walked the paths cut through the long grass in the arboretum.

Wandered around admiring the sequoia and Douglas firs; in glorious sunshine between the heavy showers with MK & S. Then we went on to Biggar to see the really good wee museum.
