On Stage

Ashtyn Barabee on stage in Wilmington, pretty good and by far the best of the three singers we heard tonight. We were downtown where D&K gave us a wee tour before we headed for cocktails, dinner and on to the show.
We’d spent the morning down the coast at Fort Fraser beach, D driving us there and straight onto the beach in his roof down, windows down Jeep - he left the doors on. It’s a holiday weekend so the place was hooching but still plenty room for all and I spent a few hours being battered by the surf, drying off and reading in the shade, being battered again and so on. Great!
