Crocosmia

I have long wanted crocosmia in the garden (they always remind me of red dragons). I planted some corms when we first moved in but they never produced anything despite me seeing the flowers in nearby gardens and knowing they must like the Cotswold soil. 
Today we bought three large plants, in flower, and planted them in the garden giving a lovely pop of colour which should last through till September. 
Given the recent rain the soil was softer than it would have been a couple of weeks ago and hopefully the forecast rain will help them bed in. We also planted some other new plants, I will share pics over the next week or so.
