St Bartholomew's.
Not strictly taken today (yesterday in London) But uploaded today from my camera, and it is a Sunday, so hopefully I'll get away with it!
Tucked away in a corner, surrounded by buildings, and just around the corner from Smithfield's Market is this beautiful church. It was founded in 1123. Survived the Great fire of London, the bombings in WW1 and WW2.
It's really pretty, with an incredible history, and I wanted to share it here. I actually forgot I'd taken it when I blipped yesterday. Probably best viewed large on black. I've had a little play at editing, shadows and light etc. Hope I've done it justice.
Another day of heavy showers, and some thunder.
