First of all, thank you to my blipfriends for the stars and faves taking my surfin damselflies to the Popular pages. 

At first I did not detect the sandpiper as it remained frozen as I approached the pond. Luckily I took the picture immediately as I detected it as when I took the next step towards it, the sandpiper decided to fly off.
