Wet

Our clever resident pair of Red Kites have managed to fledge two chicks this Summer.  They were both sitting on a branch outside my kitchen window in a heavy rain shower this morning. As soon as I got out my camera, one flew away, but the other sat looking thoroughly miserable.  These Red Kites were reintroduced from Spain about 30 years ago, they don't really "do" rain.

I love its punk hairdo :-)
