Not going to France.

There was a time when we loved going to France.
So many good things there. The weather, the countryside and mountains, the food, the orchids and butterflies. And the Lavender.

But old age leaves one with just memories.
We don’t fly any more because of global warming and it is a very wearying way to travel.
We have only one driver now.
We could go by train but you need a car when you get there and you can’t hire one if you are over 80.

So its adieu mes amis.
But there are compensations and one of them is that we can enjoy the Lavender in the front garden.
