Croí na Mara, Baltimore

I really like it when a sculpture tells a story.
Croí na Mara means Heart of the Sea in English.
The little circles between the heart-shaped wave represents those lost at sea, ascending upwards.

There isn't much else in Baltimore, and it is so remote. Losing people in pirate attacks, fishing accidents etc would obviously be a big blow.

Not to be a downer: you can still look at it and think it's pretty and carry on sightseeing. :)
