Chinese(?) Lanterns
At some point during travelling, time stops making sense with all the time-zone changes, but anyway I continue stopover in Dubai. I spent most of it just browsing duty free (but not buying anything :P ), and took some photos around and had a full brunch. Turkey "bacon" and chicken susage isn't the same really. I also accidentally left my 3G roaming on, and downloading emails and FB notifications apparently costs £10, fucking rip-off!
They also had some cameras on display (and trying), the Nikon D7100 is pretty decent I must say, but the Sony A77 (I think that was it), sucks miserably at ISO performance, besides the issue of having an electronic viewfinder. The Canon 5d MkIII unfortunately didn't have a battery attached.
Anyway, enough camera talk. Finally boarded my flight to Sana'a at some point and once I arrived, was greeted by my uncle who let me stay at his house for a day before catching my flight to Hodeidah the next day (I'm not done travelling yet!), which is very nice of him. I unfortunately spent most of the day sleeping, and electricity cuts weren't exactly helping me not to.
It was also apparently announce that Ramadan is Wednesday rather than tomorrow, which means I don't have to travel while fasting. Phew!
