A quick flit to the High St...

It turned out to be a lovely day which I spent most of on a hotel conference room (albeit in a nice part of Maidstone). At least the course was, for a change, really useful! It was a lovely building but ...
I had to run as I had to get back, go to a cashpoint, eat and ready to go back out for the last night if the school plays (backstage turn) which will go on until at least 9pm.
So this is part of my High Street snapped speedily in the late afternoon sunshine as I shot through!
The building is Eastgate House a 16th century building which figures in at least two of Dickens's books (although renamed). The bunting has been out all summer from Sweeps festival in May, through Dickens festival in June and is now waiting for the Castle Concerts in two weeks' time
