Tall Trees In Georgia . . . Eva Cassidy

The party last night went well and TLD was taken by surprise.  We started with cocktails and then walked to the venue and into a private room where she was confronted by her assembled friends.  I made a little speech and the celebrating got under way.  We weren't the first to leave :-)  I am glad her friends thought it was worth celebrating a zero birthday and making her feel special.     
These trees are on the edge of Hagley Park.  We had parked at the park and ride and took the shuttle van to the hospital to visit a friend.  He has had a major opperation using keyhole surgergy but the recovery has not been straight forward.  He was in good spirits.  In the morning we visited other friends.  It will be a quiet night in tonight.
