Mixed Weather

Sunshine and showers  - but mostly showers.

Got a few things ticked off the long  'To Do' list.  Purchasing this month's Birthday and other cards for one,  no time to make any at the moment.

Spent rather a long time in the  supermarket as round nearly every aisle I met a friend or someone I knew,  the last of which was my former heart consultant/surgeon. I hadnt seen him since before covid and now he's retired.  He had looked after me for the past 20 years or so and did my heart op.  I reminded him that I always wondered why he never put me under anaesthetic for the op, when many people who I know who had the op were put to sleep.  His answer was: "I only put those people to sleep who I didn't want to talk too"  Ha, ha I thought, it's Saturday  and Admirer would like that!!

Home and I watched a fair amount of tennis.  Djokovic's 4th round match was really good and not just a walkover. Shame that Emma Raducanu has pulled out of her doubles match with Andy Murray.
